This Santa Stocking brings together sewing and embroidery skills to create a stunning heirloom to hang up on Christmas Eve. A mix of cotton, linen and felt fabric; a name or date could easily be embroidered on the cuff to create a very special gift.

To complete this project you will need:
Fabric for stocking front and back
Fabric for stocking cuff
Iron-on Vilene for the stocking front and back
Red felt to cover wooden balls
Wooden balls x10 (approx. 18-20mm)
Seed beads, pearl
Small buttons x10
Green ribbon, enough to make 10 small bows
Length of braid or ribbon for the hanger
DMC white Cotton Perle 5
Newspaper to make your cuff pattern
